"Fellow Triplers"

After what was again a superb time at TDU-2 in October 2008  on the Oxley Highway at jaspers resort, and again by popular demand  we have now organised TDU-3.

We ran  TDU-1 based in  Caloundra  Queensland, TDU-2 in Mid NSW so now it’s the turn of our colleagues a little further South. TDU-3 will be based out of Canberra and the surrounding areas.

Also as previously articulated we are going to run this and future events every 18 months , in March time frame in the southern parts of the country and 18 months later in September/October time frame in the Northern parts of the country. This time gap allows the maximum numbers to attend and have plenty of time to plan, it also allows those with other interests to attend to those in between. Annually was just a bit too much . and of course this spreads the travel load equally.

This year we have a committee in the way of , My self (Steve Robins aka Snibor ),  Greg Carmody , Rob Carmody and Andrew Haddock (except Andrew doesn’t know yet ) who will, and have already have provided significant assistance and organisation of the march 2010 TDU-3.

From the feed back from TDU-2 and my own experience it is clear that there is a demand and desire to do it again and to add a few other activities.  With this in mind we are organising a track day which will provide instruction in better riding and for those of you who like to ride fast , do so without attracting tickets and losing points.

 “Triples down Under” has the aim of providing an event where those with a passion for Tridents, R3s and  Hurricanes can meet annually at one venue to share experiences and socialise with other triplers,  have some laughs, drink plenty and ride together.

I would encourage any wishing to attend to make every effort to bring their triples/s with them , if this is not possible then bring any machine you can, and of course for those travelling long distances bring yourself and we will make every effort to provide some transport for the rides.

The event is not just for Triple owners but also those that have an interest or desire to become an owner.

Wives, Girl friends, others are not just welcome but encouraged to attend. all most welcome so long as they love the bikes as well J.

TDU-3 2010 will take place on the following dates:

We will require a deposit of $50 to register but i will email details of this after Christmas .

We are endeavouring to keep the costs down as low as possible as at  TDU-2 for some folks  (especially couples )  it was a bit expensive.
